Refunds and cancellation policy

When a refund is available, how cancellation works on a retainer, and who to contact about either.

Effective July 23, 2025

Our commitment

We aim to deliver work that does what we said it would. We also understand that circumstances change. This is how refunds and cancellations work at Cronboost.

1. One-time projects

Refunds are issued on a pro-rata basis, depending on how much of the work has been completed.

Eligible for a partial refund

  • You cancel early in the project.
  • Less than half of the scoped work has been completed.

Not eligible for a refund

  • The work has been delivered, or is in its final stages.
  • Deliverables have already been handed over: source code, a deployed site or application, design files, or finished video and written content.

To request a refund, email billing@cronboost.com with your order ID and the reason for the request.

2. Monthly retainers

You may cancel a retainer, such as channel and content management, at any time.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle.
  • No partial-month refunds are issued once a cycle has started.

For example: if you cancel on 10 July, your retainer ends on 30 July, assuming your billing cycle started on 1 July.

If there is a billing error, or a problem with the service on our side, we will investigate it fully and issue a refund where that is appropriate.

3. Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact us first. If you have a concern, email support@cronboost.com before starting a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved quickly and fairly.

Unresolved chargebacks raised without any attempt to contact us first may result in being blocked from future services.

4. Common questions

How long does a refund take to process?

Refunds are usually processed within five to seven business days of approval. How long the money then takes to appear depends on your payment method and your bank.

Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied with the work?

Yes, if less than half of the scoped work has been completed. We work closely with clients throughout a project, and most concerns can be resolved through revisions and a conversation long before it comes to that.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

We keep your project data for 30 days after cancellation, so that you can pick the work back up. After that it may be permanently deleted, unless we have to keep it for legal reasons.
